Courier Working-Life Survey 2022

Here at Couriers TV we try our best to learn everything there is to know about Courier work so that we can help delivery professionals improve their businesses and their quality of work life. Each year we try to get feedback on how things are going for couriers. That's where our 2022 work-life survey comes in.

This is Britain. A place where polls and surveys are a part of everyday life. Many of us love a good pie-chart or bar graph showing us who or what is popular or value for money every few weeks. But the team at Couriers TV are more concerned to know if your delivery business is doing well.

As we have our own delivery company we can get an idea of what it’s like to work in this sector of the logistics world, but it’s still only 1 opinion. To get a balanced view we need to ask as many people as possible.

In 2021 we created our first survey which focussed more on how people were feeling about being couriers – because at that time we had come through the first (and worst) year of Corona Virus and it was difficult to know what the future held. Little did we know at that stage that the ‘HGV Driver Shortage’ was just around the corner and that we would all be called upon to take up the slack.

Now it’s 2022 and things are feeling a lot more like ‘normality’. If you exclude the war in Ukraine and the utterly insane fuel prices that are causing real headaches for those of us that get through diesel by the truck-load (sorry, I had to do that).

So with this years survey we’ve gone back to basics just to find out the fundamentals of the average courier business. We want to know things like; what people spend on fuel each week, how many miles you cover on average and where most of your work comes from.

Wait – a reward for filling out a quick survey form?! Yes…

Amazon Logo Gift Card

We know that filling out forms isn’t always the most exciting thing you can do with your evening or weekend, so we’ve managed to scrape together a small reward this year. Everyone that fills out our survey will be entered into a raffle for the opportunity to win a £25 Amazon gift card.

Okay we know it’s not exactly a winning lottery ticket, but it’s better than nothing, right?

So – are you ready to help an entire industry learn about what life has been like for you during the last year? If you are then please head over to our Surveys and Statistics page.
