We’ve all surely heard about the outbreak of Coronavirus (COVID-19) in the UK and around the world.

Whilst it does pose a risk to some, for many people it may not be as much of an issue. That being said, it’s still important to heed medical advice and put precautions in place to protect yourself and others at this time.

IMPORTANT::

We have heard of drivers being blocked from using toilet facilities on commercial premises when collecting / delivering.

Remember it is STILL ILLEGAL for companies to ban delivery drivers from using the toilets, even during Coronavirus.

But if you find a company being difficult, we suggest the best way forward is to find an amicable solution – such as offering to wash your hands before entering the premises. It’s not fair that we’re treated differently, but it may be a short term solution during this difficult period.

The British Government has advised a few basic Coronavirus measures

Hygiene: The No.1 way to help limit the spread of this disease, so regular hand-washing is essential

Limited Contact: Reduce how much contact you have with others.

Stay home if sick: Do yourself and everyone else a favour and stay home for a week. It’s no fun, but it will help reduce the damage in the long run.
